Steven J. Stack

Our loving son and brother, Steven Jeffery Stack, entered God’s kingdom to begin his new life with his dear sister, Heidi, on Oct. 16, 2017. We are sure it was a happy reunion between those two in heaven, although many tears were shed by family and loved ones left behind.

Born on July 16, 1962, Steve was one of the jewels of the family, along with his sister.

Dear brothers, David (Rose), of Vestal, N.Y., and Bob (Dee), of Laflin, are the remaining children of Robert W. and Marilyn Ann Stack, of Jersey Shore. Also surviving are his wife, the former Theresa Scoverski; son, Steven; brother-in-law, Gil Howell, of Redmond, Oregon; aunts, Phyllis Leed and Edee Carr; nieces and nephews, Rob, Bree, and Roman, Holly, Alex, and Andi, and Joel and Monique; and numerous friends, buddies, and band members.

Steven was a 1980 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. He was a natural entertainer from an early age, and loved life, his family and friends, and music. He played in various bands over the years and toured throughout the US. He grew up playing Pop Warner Football, Little League Baseball, Judo, was a Boy Scout and enjoyed playing Volleyball at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member growing up.

Early in his career, Steve worked for Ramp Industries in Binghamton, New York. After moving to Florida, he was an RF engineer and inventor at TracStar. He was the White County Chamber of Commerce chairperson, served on the United Way Celebrity Golf Tournament planning team, and was named Kissimmee Elk of the year. In recent years, he was a realtor for Century 21.

Steve’s outgoing personality, talents, humor, generosity and smile will be missed by all. His journey may have ended here on earth, but, has now started as one of God’s newest Angels. As we remember Steve in our daily walk, please show caring and compassion to others, in God’s name we pray.

……we All Love you Steve!

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a late date.
