A. Louise Counsil
A. Louise Counsil, 90, of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at The Williamsport Home.
Born June 11, 1927, in Beech Creek, she was a daughter to the late Harry and Dorothy (Leathers) Wagner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Counsil in 1987; a son, Donald E. Counsil in 2008; a brother, Harry Wagner Jr.; and a sister, Virginia Thompson.
Louise worked at Woolrich for many years before retiring at 62. Later in her life, she worked at Burger King in Lock Haven. She enjoyed embroidering at her home and she enjoyed serving as a Den Mother earlier in her life.
Surviving are her son, Edwin (Cindy) Counsil, of Lock Haven; grandchildren, Nicole (Eric) Luckie, of Bellefonte and Dustin Counsil, of Woolrich; great-grandchildren, Emmett, Silas, Martin and Braelynn; a sister, Jeanne (Dick) Dunkle, of Rote; a brother, Richard Wagner, of Mechanicsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service honoring the life of Louise will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. A time of visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening, November 13, at Welker Funeral Home. Pastor Alan Eckenroad will officiate.
Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
