Dale C. Mundis


Dale C. Mundis, 47, of Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 4, 1970, in Blossburg, to Ralph and Sandy (Colson) Mundis, of Blossburg.

Dale was a Project Manager for Tuckey Restoration. He loved music, racing RC cars and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dale was a kind man who would never hesitate to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 1299 and the White Circle Club.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Dawna J. (Shearer) Mundis, of Carlisle; two sons, Derek Shearer and Sullivan Mundis, both of Carlisle; two sisters, Lori (husband Dean) Edwards, of Elgin, Okla. and Lisa Amato, of Shillington; a brother, Kyle (wife Jo) Mundis, of Enola; a nephew, Gavin, who lived with Dale and Dawna; many other nieces and nephews; and four chihuahuas.

Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Mundis on Sept. 26, 2005.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of the services.
