Wilhelmina Waldman, 91, of Williamsport, passed away Dec. 20, 2017, surrounded by her loving family while visiting in Millersville, Md.
She was born in Williamsport on Aug. 20, 1926, one of eleven children of John J. and Katherine Zielewicz Szybist.
Wilhelmina was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the former Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church. Her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family.
She and her husband Emil E. Waldman celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary June 28, 2017; also surviving are her children, Mikki (Larry) Cole, of Milan, William (Marcia) Waldman, of Mansfield, Emil Waldman Jr., of Portsmouth, N.H., Ann and Mary Lynn Waldman, of Millersville, Md., Paul Waldman, of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Janie (Reed Maryott) Cole, Joshua (Amy) Waldman, Amanda (Steve) Mallacoccio, Logan Waldman; great-grandchildren, Allison and Calvin Waldman, Dillon and Gavin Maryott; siblings, Virginia Szybist, Jacqueline Fleisher and John (Jean) Szybist.
Wilhelmina was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
The family will receive family and friends at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, with the Rev. Michael Zipay officiating, followed by burial at Wildwood Cemetery.
