Michael Woolever, 69, of Burton, passed away Jan. 5, 2018, at McLaren – Flint. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County or Holy Rosary Grade School.
Michael was born in Williamsport, Pa. on Oct. 11, 1948, son of the late Oscar and Marie (Enich) Woolever. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1966 and Lock Haven State College in 1970. Michael married Candace Wurster in 1968.
He worked at AC Delco, EDS and was the Data Center Manager at the Renaissance Center. Michael later worked for Verizon.
He enjoyed traveling, going to the movies and anything to do with trains, planes and fast cars. Michael loved his pets and enjoyed a cigar paired with a good whiskey.
Michael is survived by his wife Candace; children, Shane (Betsy), Becky; grandchildren, Tessa, Mia, Quinn and Shelby.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandy Sundius.
