Ralph F. Spencer

Ralph F. Spencer, 90, of 1445 Sycamore Road, Montoursville, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at Arista Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Montoursville. Ralph was born in Johnson City, N.Y. on May 31, 1927, the son of Elwin and Alice Monahan Spencer.

He was a lifelong member of West Burlington United Methodist Church, Troy, Pa.

He was a graduate of the former Williamsport Technical Institute. Ralph was an engineer for Westinghouse in Elmira, N.Y. for 25 yrs. prior to retirement in 1987.

He enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling to Pigeon Forge.

He is survived by his wife, the former Helen M. Mundrick Spencer. They would have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in July of 2018. Nieces Sharon (Al) Caulkins and Patricia (Keith) Havens and many other nieces and nephews survive him. He is also survived by brother and sisters-in-law, Robert (Phyllis) Mundrick, Doris (Russell) Hall, Ann (Roy) Beck, Linda (Dave) Kepner and David Mundrick.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Carlton L. Spencer and sister, Lois Ann Light.

A funeral service will be held at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at 11 am. The Pastor Sally Good will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Bradford County Memorial Park. There will be graveside services in Bradford County Memorial Park at 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
