Dale W. Pepper

Dale W. Pepper, 73, of Pennsdale, died Friday, March 2, 2018, at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 2, 1945, in Alba, he was a son of the late LaRue H. and Adelia (Fitch) Pepper. He married the former Barbara A. Rupert, and together they celebrated 43 years of marriage.

Dale served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. He then worked as a brick layer, where he enjoyed his work tremendously. Dale enjoyed antique collecting, hunting, fishing, and above all spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Ranae (Craig) Woods, of Alexandria, Va.; a son, Toby (Jennifer) Pepper, of Montoursville; two sisters, Marjorie Pepper, of Williamsport, and Nancy Patil, of Montoursville; ten grandchildren, Zack Woods, Blake Woods, Elainah Pepper, Sierra Barnes, Sam Pepper, Jack Pepper, Paul Pepper, Tyler Barnes, Rocco Pepper, and Bella Barnes; and five nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Pepper.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10 at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Rev. Cinda J. Brucker officiating. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
