Harold F. Heimbach

Harold F. Heimbach, 80, of Muncy-Exchange Road, Muncy, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018, at his home.

Born March 12, 1937, in West Buffalo Township, Union County, he was the son of the late Albert and Myrtle (Aikey) Heimbach. On April 25, 1970, he married the former Nina H. Lyons and they have celebrated 47 years of marriage.

Harold had been employed at Colonial Products (Yorktown), Fetter’s Meat, Muncy Market and Sam’s Club.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the Beck-Mill hunting club in Union County. He enjoyed being outdoors, talking on the phone and loved spending time with his family. He accepted the Lord and was baptized through the Fairview Church of the Nazarene and he enjoyed Bible studies.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Harold L. Heimbach and his wife Melody, of Millmont and Barry E. Heimbach, of Milton; two daughters, Tina M. Musser and her husband Randy, of Millmont and Donna L Heimbach, of West Milton; five grandchildren, Tonia Witmer, Trina Heimbach, Traci Smith, Nichole Diehl and Bradley Heimbach; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Raymond (Denise) and Kenneth, both in Missouri, Robert (Vickie), of Mifflinburg and Albert Jr. (Nanette), of Virginia; and seven sisters, Charlotte (Wallace) Bowersox, of Winfield, Rosalie (James) Stark, of Mifflinburg, Patricia Jows, of Penns Creek, Wanda Wert, of Sunbury, Florence Martin, of Florida, Vera Betz, of Mifflinburg, and Carol Tkach, of Penns Creek.

Preceding him in death besides his parents were two brothers, Willard and Bernard and three sisters, Ruth Ely, Barb Walter and Arlene Smith.

Friends and family are invited to call from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Marjorie Fisk of the Fairview Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
