John L. Rundio

Mr. John L. Rundio, 80, longtime South Williamsport resident, died Thursday, March 1, 2018, at The Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born Oct. 9, 1937, at Williamsport, he was the son of the late Earl C. and Esther J. (Miller) Rundio.

John was retired from the Montgomery Area School District in 1987 where he had taught Secondary Special Education. He was a graduate of the South Williamsport High School, and a graduate of Lycoming College, Class of 1969. He enjoyed collecting antiques. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 106, F & AM, Williamsport, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Williamsport, Baldwin II Commandery No. 22, Knights Templar. He had also been a member of the Order of DeMolay. He had been a life member of the South Williamsport Volunteer Fire Department, First Ward Fire Company. John had been a longtime member of the South Williamsport United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his three nephews, Vince (Robin) Rundio, of South Williamsport, Chris (Leslee) Rundio, of South Williamsport, and Troy (Donna) Rundio, of Williamsport.

In addition to his late parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Rundio.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family with private interment at Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport. There will be no visitation and flowers will be provided by the family.
