Larry N. Pick, 68, a resident of Mifflinburg, died Thursday, April 12, 2018, at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, surrounded by the love and support of his family and the spirit of his Lord. Born Dec. 12, 1949, in Muncy Creek Township, Lycoming County, he was the son of the late Dale I. and Jacqueline M. (Crandell) Pick. He was the husband of Sandra (Graybill) Padlo Pick, the love of his life, with whom he celebrated a second wedding anniversary on July 25, 2017.

Larry was a 1967 graduate of Montgomery Area High School and took great pleasure in serving on the 50th reunion committee. Larry was active in Boy Scouts receiving the God and Country Award. He loved his God and currently was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Mifflinburg. He was always active in church and, at one time, participated in the bell choir. He participated in little league, and as an adult was very active in youth sports. He refereed youth soccer and volleyball and umpired baseball and girls softball. The highlight for Larry was calling the Dixie State Championship game at home plate. He enjoyed golfing and playing cards and games with his family. He was an avid fan of the Yankees and Penn State. He and Sandy also enjoyed taking bus trips. He loved his family and they loved him. During his last days the nurses and doctors at the hospital commented on how much his family loved him and was always there to support him — and also commented on his strong faith.
