Frederick E. Koch
illiamsport, died Thursday May 17, 2018, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Williamsport, the son of the late Clinton and Angeline Boroski Koch.
He attended St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Frederick retired from the Lycoming County Prison System where he served as Food Service Director.
Frederick was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed watching Nascar and collecting coins. Fred also enjoyed being with his family, especially being Pappy to his grandchildren. He and his wife Nancy enjoyed spending their winters in Florida.
Frederick is survived by his wife, the former Nancy E. Storms Koch; and children, Lori (Michael) Zicolello, of Williamsport, Angie (Michael) Koch Peck, of Williamsport, Aimee (William) Koch Reed, of this city; step children Kenneth Angstadt, of Jersey Shore and Karen Dapp, of Montoursville, Curtis Storms, of Louisiana, Douglas and Marc Storms, both of Williamsport. His grandchildren survive him: Natalie, Mia and Alexander Zicolello, Owen, Emaline Peck and Liam Reed. He is survived by his sister, Shirley Christini, of South Williamsport; and brother, Donald (Hazel) Koch Sr., of Williamsport.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Brian VanFossan on Monday, May 21, 2018, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 702 W. Fourth St. Entombment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018, in Wildwood Cemetery. Rev Tom Major will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gatehouse Hospice at Divine Providence Hospital care of the Susquehanna Foundation, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
