Nancy J. Enders

Nancy J. Enders, 80, of Bastress, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018, at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.

Born April 15, 1938, in Oval, she was the daughter to the late Lester Snyder and the former Daisy Weaver.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Wilbert A. “Bill” Enders on Aug. 27, 2010, they were united in marriage on July 6, 1957, in the Oval United Methodist Church.

For many years, Nancy and her husband were self employed fruit farmers in Nippenose Valley. She was a life long member of the Oval United Methodist Church and sang in the church choir.

Surviving are two daughters, Yvonne M. (Whitey) Palmatier, of Jersey Shore, and Valerie A. (Wayne) Guiswite, of Jersey Shore; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018, in the Oval United Methodist Church, 6796 S. Route 44 Hwy, Jersey Shore.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at church. Pastor Wanda Minnick will officiate.

Nancy will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Oval Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name made be made to the Oval United Methodist Church.
