Russell J. Budman

Russell J. “Bones” Budman, 75, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018, in the Geisinger Medical Center at Danville. He was born on Tuesday, July 7, 1942, at Elimsport, Lycoming Co., a son of the late Brady James and Edna Rose (Evans) Budman. He was the husband of Dorothy Mae (Wolfe) Budman with whom he celebrated a 37th wedding anniversay on Sept. 13, 2017.

He attended the Montgomery Area Schools. He was employed as a truck driver by Watson Rendering of Elimsport which was later bought by MOPAC of Souderton retiring in 1990.

Russell loved being outdoors and working on mowers and cutting grass. He was an avid John Deere toy collector. He especially loved his cats.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children, Tina and husband Eddie Palmeter, of Turbotville, Linda and husband Marlin Gemberling, of Mifflinburg, Donna and husband Pat Deitrick, of Montgomery, Paula and husband Jim Raemsch, of Allenwood, Allen and wife Jeannie Budman, of Montgomery, Brady Budman and Denise Miller, of Montgomery, Christopher and wife Jodi Budman, of Montgomery; two sisters, Mary Hyde, of Allenwood and Pearl Raup, of Allenwood; one brother, Tom Budman of Montgomery; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Elwood Budman, John Budman, Lou Budman, Charles Budman, Nile Budman; and two sisters, Mae Bryan and Marie Hauck.

At Russell’s request, there will be no services.
