Wilhelm P. Schon

Wilhelm P. “Billy” Schon, 35, of Loyalsock Twp., died unexpectedly on July 13, 2018, at Geisinger Medical Center. He was born Nov. 18, 1982, in Williamsport, a son of Wilhelm E. Schon and Patti Jo Miller.

Billy was a 2002 graduate of Loyalsock High School and afterwards worked with his father on the family farm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tractor pulls.

Surviving are his son, Lucas James Schon; father and stepmother, Kim, of Loyalsock Twp.; his mother, of Muncy; three sisters, Christa (Brandon) Mitchell, of Kersey, Jenifer (Ted) Edler, of Buttonwood, and Katy Schon, of Loyalsock Twp.; a grandmother, Helen Miller, of Hughesville; grandparents, Larry and Carol Wanless, of Richland Center, Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with Rev. Robert Ayars officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Montoursville Cemetery.

A viewing for family and friends will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. Friday, July 20 and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, both at the funeral home.
