Adalgisa D’Alena, 92, of Williamsport, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018, in the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 15, 1926, in Italy, the daughter of Francis and Teresa DiGirolamo.
Adalgisa was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and a longtime member of the former Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church.
A homemaker she enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.
Her husband, Ettore D’Alena, died Sept. 19, 2013.
She is survived by her children, Rita (Harry) Dake, of Williamsport, Ralph (Patricia) D’Alena, of Linden, Anna (Keith) Burk, of Loyalsock Twp., Frank (Terry) D’Alena, of Linden, Teresa (Jim) Stoner, of Cogan Station and son-in-law, Joseph DiStasi, of Loyalsock Twp. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Adalgisa was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma DiStasti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Road, Williamsport, at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018. Friends may call at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, on Friday morning from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
