Patty Ann ‘Peaches’ Miller

Mrs. Patty Ann “Peaches” Miller, 66, longtime resident of South Williamsport’s Sylvan Dell Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at The Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Pa.

Born June 12, 1952, at Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Allen W. Sr. and Alice I. (Kinney) Reed.

Patty enjoyed more than anything else, her family. She was a homemaker and devoted wife. She had been employed at CVS Pharmacy in South Williamsport. She loved casinos, bingo, yard sales, playing cards and games. All of this she did with her only true love and best friend, and soul mate, Michael J. Miller Sr.

Together they have one son, Michael J. (Michelle L ) Miller Jr., of Williamsport; two daughters, Tracy Ann (Harry) Miller, of Sylvan Dell, and Angela L. (Duwane) Statts, of Hughesville. There are six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, which she made sure she was involved in all of their activities, and loved being there to support and nurture them. She kept everyone organized. She also is survived by her brothers, Merrill (Donna) Reed, of Williamsport, Allen W. (Tira) Reed, of Bodines; and her sister, Tammy I. (Larry) Hawpsher, of Lock Haven.

She was a member of the Royal P. Steinbacher Post No. 617, American Legion, at South Williamsport, and a volunteer for the East Lycoming School District, especially with Santa’s Workshop.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her mother-in-law, Margaret Miller; a brother, Charles Allen Reed; and her grandson, Zane Eugene Statts.

There will be no services as per her requests. A private gathering will be announced at a later date.

Contributions in her memory may be made to Mr. Michael J. Miller Sr., to help defray medical expenses.
