Daniel L. Miller

Daniel L. Miller, 58, of Hughesville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.

Born Nov. 25, 1959, in Muncy, he was a son of Coral V. (Bosch) Miller, and the late Franklin W. Miller. He and his wife, the former Janine M. Kepner, celebrated 22 years of marriage, on May 18, 2018.

Dan attended Muncy High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He was an outdoor enthusiast who loved animals, hunting, fishing, camping and sightseeing. Dan also enjoyed high school wrestling and sports, especially the Steelers, the Phillies and Penn State.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are a daughter, Bekka M. (Jordan Sylvis) Miller, of Hughesville; four sisters, Judy A. Neuhard, of Hughesville, Polly J. (Dean) Smith, of Hughesville, JoAnn Hino, of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Jeanne L. Nearhoof, of Hughesville; a brother, Steven W. (Tammy) Miller of Lewes, Del.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Tivoli United Methodist Church, 9598 Route 220 Hwy., Hughesville, with Thomas M. Brokaw, UPMC Susquehanna Chaplain, officiating.

Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
