Thomas A. Harmon

Thomas A. Harmon, 61, of Plunketts Creek Township, died at his residence on Nov. 1, 2018.

He was born Aug. 9, 1957, in Williamsport, a son of the late Jesse D. and Phyllis (Kitchen) Harmon.

Thom retired as customer service manager at PP&L and was a 1975 graduate of South Williamsport High School. He enjoyed physical conditioning every day, loved spending time in and around the Loyalsock Creek and was a strong advocate for adopting shelter animals.

Surviving are his wife of 30 years, the former Nancy C. Cole; two brothers, David Harmon, of Trout Run, and Michael Harmon, of Hughesville; and two nieces, Kimberly and Annie.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a no-kill animal shelter of your choice.
