Dean Nelson Livermore

Dean Nelson Livermore, 66, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away surrounded by loving family on Nov. 28. Dean was born on Dec. 11, 1951, in Williamsport.

He graduated from Lycoming College in 1974, and Cumberland Law School in 1977. He was an Assistant Public Defender for Florida’s Sixth Judicial Circuit for 30 years and was a fierce advocate for the less fortunate.

Dean is predeceased by his mother, Jacqueline (Craven) Livermore, and his granddaughter, Hannah Livermore; and is survived by his wife of over 43 years, Katherine (Elwood) Livermore; two children, Douglas Livermore (Erin) and Faith Livermore; two grandchildren, Kate and Cora Livermore; father, Nelson Livermore; and sister, Nancy Snyder (Lee).

The family will greatly miss their enthusiastic partner in adventure who was always willing to pitch in and lend a hand.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Plantation Palms Golf Club, 23253 Plantation Palms Blvd., Land O’Lakes, FL 34639.

Flowers can be sent to the Plantation Palms Golf Club care of Lynn Donohue. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the Pasco Public Defender Medical Mobile Unit, which provides Pasco residents in need with access to free medical care and hot showers, by sending donations made out to “Mobile Medical Unit care of Pasco Public Defender’s Office” to Pasco Public Defender’s Office, attn: Liz Rhodes, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey, FL 34654.
