State standing in gas production move evidence industry is here to stay

While gas drilling activity has not been as robust the past two years as the boom years that preceded it, the industry is hardly on its death bed.

The U.S. Department of Energy says Pennsylvania closed out 2013 on the verge of surpassing Louisiana as the second most productive natural gas producing state in the nation.

As we have tried to maintain in this space, the natural gas industry may not be as visible one year as another, but it’s here to stay for at least a couple generations.
