YWCA chooses wisely naming Linn Glenwright successor

The local YWCA had big shoes to fill with the upcoming retirement of Diane L. Glenwright, the agency’s longtime leader. They could not have made a better choice than Dawn M. Linn. She brings the ideal combination of financial, philanthropic and community knowledge.

The knowledge comes from years of experience in the banking business and, most recently, as vice president of planned philanthropy at the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania.

Like all social service agencies, the YWCA faces huge challenges. It needs to maintain financial footing in order to fulfill an ambitious array of services that the community desperately needs.

We wish Glenwright happiness in a well-earned retirement and Linn all the luck in the world in succeeding her.
