DeNiro selfishly robs Tony Awards stage with childish anti-Trump rant

President Donald Trump has been accused frequently of two things: First, he isn’t a deep thinker, say some critics. Second, he has a persecution complex, they add.

Really?

The recent Tony Awards program was supposed to recognize achievements by those who stage Broadway shows. It turned into a rant against Trump.

“I’m gonna say one thing: F— Trump! It’s no longer ‘down with Trump,’ it’s f— Trump,” proclaimed actor Robert DeNiro when he took the microphone.

DeNiro was cheered and received a standing ovation.

Meanwhile the people in the project he worked on that deserved recognition were robbed of their moment in favor of his self-centered rant.

And wasn’t that an intellectual observation about the president? Any more questions about whether Trump thinks some sectors of society hate him?
