Firearms

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Obama Administration for its impact on firearm sales. Manufactures worldwide have been blessed with increased sales thanks to this administrations attack on the Second Amendment. But another kind of impact was imposed with two raids on Gibson Guitars, which was raided by “heavily armed agents in SWAT gear”. The CEO stated that this over-reaction could have been avoided by a simple form request. No criminal charges were ever brought against Gibson and material was returned; money however was “extorted” to retire the case.

I digress; the government is buying up 1.6 billion rounds of .40 cal. and 9mm ammunition. This action has resulted in a severe shortage of all calibers of ammunition for consumers. A shortage of powder, primers, and bullets has also been visited on gun enthusiasts. Why does the government need so many rounds? Well, considering this administration’s attack on the Second Amendment, I can only say, “a gun is useless without ammo”. And these are “hollow point rounds” (JHP), used for terminating life, not the “full metal jacket” (FMJ) rounds typically used for target practice. Is the government preparing for an enemy invasion, or is there something more sinister? If the ammo manufacturers, Winchester, Remington, Hornady, et al, shorted the government to supply more to the consumer, would these manufacturers be visited with the same “enthusiasm” as Gibson Guitars? And I ask, did any of these CEO’s donate to the Romney campaign, ala Gibson Guitars? Doesn’t seem like they are on the enemies list yet Yet.

It seems to me that unless you play by the Obama Administrations own rules, your business, organization, Christian or Jew, or 501c3 will draw their attention. Fear of this government is the ultimate attack on free speech, your First Amendment right. Draw their ire and they will come down on you hard. and I think that freedom loving Conservatives, Libertarians, and Patriots are more than ready to push back.
