Step up, Republicans

Every county in Oklahoma voted Republican in the last election. The Republican senators voted against government assistance for New York and New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy.

It’s time for the Republicans and their millionaire friends to show the country how to rebuild without government assistance.

Mitt Romney is worth $200 million. How about inventing $50 in rebuilding Moore, Oklahoma.

The Koch Brothers are worth $50 billion. They should drop one percent of their net worth on Oklahoma.

Throw in another $50 million from the one percent who think government shouldn’t get involved in rebuilding after national disasters.

That $600 million would teach the American people a valuable lesson about how corporations and the private sector are more important than the government.

It would be a more valuable lesson than boehner introducing 46 bills to limit women’s reproductive rights, 133 bills trying to force the American people to practice religion as the republicans see fit, 73 bills on family relationships, 36 bills trying to prevent marriages, 72 bills against measures to protect the American people against gun violence and no bills to create American jobs.

It would be more valuable than Boehner introducing 467 bills on government investigations.
