What’s really wrong

Much is said about police, courts and prisons doing their job of protecting us from wrongdoing, but society’s customs, traditions, and moral values are what really work to make society safe and pleasant. Police, courts and prisons will never replace them. We all know one shouldn’t murder, lie, cheat or steal, but proper conduct when interacting with one another is also important.

An indication of how far we’ve fallen is the game of knockdown we’re hearing about, where youths find innocent people and try and knock them down with one punch. This kind of activity isn’t wrong because it’s illegal, it’s illegal because it’s wrong, but the knockdowns are filmed and posted online as bragging points.
