The Holder way

State Attorney Generals are sworn to uphold and defend the laws of their states, but we have Eric Holder, in an interview with the New York Times, telling them to disregard their oath of office like he has done, if they disagree with a law.

If an Attorney General can’t uphold and defend a state’s law he or she should resign or defend and uphold the law and let it go to a higher court on appeal to determine its Constitutionality. Otherwise we replace the rule of law with law by personal opinion and business leaders and investors will invest somewhere else where the rules are predictable and understandable
