Still amazing people

On Sept. 22 at approximately 11:30 a.m., a person or persons in a white pick-up truck ran over my dog on Lycoming Creek Road. This person never stopped to see if he was OK or if there was anything they could do, they just left the scene as quickly as possible.

I wanted to say that other wonderful people did try to help.

The man from the tire store and to wonderful ladies in a small black car who picked me up while I was running after my dog who got hit and ran took me to get my dog and then returned us to my car so I could get him to the vet as quickly as possible.

I cannot thank everyone enough.

I never got your names, but your act of kindness will not be forgotten!

To the owner of the white pick-up, if you hit a small child, would you have left the scene of that accident? Also, what were you thinking as you sped away, it would have meant the world if you have just stopped.

Jingles is my doggy’s name and I’m so grateful that although I will be working overtime for a few weeks to pay for my $497 vet bill from Loyalsock Animal Hospital. He is going to be alright!

And I learned last week that there are still amazing people in Williamsport.
