Enforce the laws

A couple of times a month, my husband and I use the recycling center on W. Third Street. At that location, between the fence and the first bin, there is a sign that reads, “No TV’s. No Appliances. No trash in this area.” Every time we go, there is a pile of “junk” behind the sign. On a recent trip, there were two TV’s, a vacuum cleaner and other miscellaneous junk. There are security cameras there. My question is do they work? Does anyone ever look at them? Or, is it like a lot of so called laws that are on the books but not enforced? It is no wonder our city is not what it was even 25 years ago. If the laws and or the rules are not enforced, the crime increases.
