Your article on the St. Boniface Church fire brought back a lot of memories. My husband (Campy) and I ran a small grocery store around the corner of Franklin Street.
Also in the same year in June the whole area was experiencing flooding from 6 days of rain.
My husband would take the back roads to get milk, bread, etc. so we would have them for our customers. We heard rumors that other stores were charging double for these things.
Keep up the good work!
