Understanding PACs

All these people crying foul over Congressman Marino’s campaign contributions obviously do not understand how political campaigns work.

All members of Congress take PAC donations.

You’re all upset about $140,000 that was given to Marino by pharmaceuticals, but that $140k is over a 7-year period, $20,000 per year.

It’s a drop in the bucket. Where’s the outcry over Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia? In 2016 alone he took nearly $60,000 from the drug company Mylan. Congressman Marino should be pleased that the majority of his campaign contributions have come from his constituents, the people he proudly represents.
