Gun rights

Another shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida, where a mentally deranged individual murdered 17 and injured 15. Dr. Edwin Vieira explains how mass shooters could be stopped or casualties reduced by revitalizing the militia of several states and reclaiming its Constitutional status. His book, Thirteen Words, “A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free state,” should be read by all gun owners. James Jaeger inspired by Vieira’s book, is making a movie titled “Good Guys With Guns,” to be available on Oath Keepers Academy.

These Constitutions regarding the militia and peoples’ rights to keep and bear arms preceded the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights and our Second Amendment.

Our Constitution, Article 1 Section 8 requires Congress to call forth the “Militia” to execute the laws of the union, suppress insurrection and repel invasions. Revitalization of the Militia would be a right and duty required of all people between the ages of 18 to 45 to serve unless exempted for public service. Conscientious objectors who refused to bear arms would be charged an equivalent fee for militia protection.

With millions of armed militia members available nationwide, gun-free zones sanctioned by politicians and predators would be eliminated and protection for individuals, communities, states and our nation from foreign or domestic totalitarianism would be immediate. The NRA with its’ name recognition, political clout and 5 million members could provide the leadership, training, defensive use and firearm safety for all militia members.
