Thanks to Cancer Society volunteers

As the American Cancer Society celebrates National Volunteer Week, there are no words that can possibly express the our gratitude for all our volunteers do. They selflessly give their time and talents to make sure we are leading the fight for a world without cancer.

From leading Relay For Life teams, assisting with everyday office needs, advocating for healthier communities, and driving patients to and from their cancer treatments; volunteers are the heart and soul of the American Cancer Society.

Our volunteer drivers are literally giving someone the ride of their life, helping patients in need overcome what is often their biggest obstacle, getting to treatment.

As we celebrate National Volunteer Week, I want to thank every one of our volunteers and encourage anyone touched by cancer to consider becoming a volunteer. Volunteer drivers are especially needed. The driving schedule is flexible, with drivers choosing the number of rides they want to provide.
