How to reduce school property tax
I have taught at every level of education. I have also taught in for foreign countries. At the college and university level, the trend has been away from tenure. How is this accomplished? It is called adjunct faculty.
What does this mean? The adjunct faculty receives a salary – no retirement, no vacation pay, no sick time. No health insurance.
Is it time for public schools to consider this change? As a taxpayer in a school area, you be the judge.
