For the last month or two we have been reading the Lycoming County Commissioners are cutting salaries.
Then at the end of each meeting update is a list of new hires. Now we have the latest hire, an administrative manager, at $40,000 annually plus benefits.
According to the commissioners, this is saving the county money and, according to the new hire, she loves the county and loves what she does.
What’s not to love! It looks to me like politics as usual in the commissioner’s office.
Thank you, Sun-Gazette, for two nice articles on the Keystone Little League-State Champions. One by Lana Muthler and one by Shareik Flowers. It was a pleasure to read this recognition about these young players so close to our county borders.
