Cynics and skeptics
A recent writer defined normal and put that into context about climate change.
He also emphasized that he is not a climate change denier but a skeptic. I don’t think he is a skeptic but more of a cynic when it comes to the debate about the effects man has made in regard to climate change. I will attempt to explain.
In simple terms science deals primarily with skepticism. They probe and question a hypothesis searching for a higher understanding or what some would call the truth.
A cynic believes the goal is to find fault and conclude that everything is wrong.
The writer thinks that the changes in the world’s climate falls within a normal swing. A true skeptic would say that it does not. He is not a true climate change skeptic but more of a cynic who finds fault with all of the findings.
