What kind of person can question the patriotism of former POWs from the war in Vietnam or any other war? That war did a lot to divide this country. Patriots on both sides of that conflict felt they were defending the honor of this country. Patriotism is not defined by wearing a uniform or burning a flag. By standing for the ideals this country was founded upon, a person expresses his or her beliefs as they feel are important. An American has the right to stand or kneel for the National Anthem. They may wear or burn their Nike shoes.
