A striking resemblance

On Dec. 7, 1941, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor with 350 warplanes and within a short period of time 330 of our planes and 29 ships were destroyed or damaged. More than 2,400 people died that day, servicemen and women and civilians. At that time, the United States was engaged in peace talks with Japan.

Presently we are engaged in talks with Mexico about a wall along our southern border. We are not being invaded by foreign aircraft coming across the border. We are being invaded by illegal immigrants from other countries and Mexico.

They are not seeking to destroy our country, they are seeking a free ride which our government and safe cities are offering to them. Hundreds every day are streaming across the border taking advantage of free hospital care, housing, etc. and driving uninsured or unlicensed vehicles.

Some of them are involved in drug dealing. Crime rates in these border areas are on the rise.

It looks to me like there is a striking resemblance between the two aforementioned scenarios. Japan invaded Hawaii and illegals are invading the United States from Mexico. Illegal aliens are getting a much better way of life with the aid of sanctuary cities and our government.

Our president, Donald Trump, is on the right track but the democrats keep trying to derail him. For the sake of our economy and our great country, help the man “Make America Great Again.”

With the men and women of the Armed Forces, we stopped the Japanese utilizing that same force in a nonviolent manner, we can build the wall and secure our border.
