I have caller ID on my phone and today I received a call identified as “Valley View Nursing.” It turns out that’s where my sister who suffers from Alzheimer’s resides, so of course I answered it. Well, it turned out to be someone calling about a credit card deal.
As you can imagine I went totally ballistic! The fact that someone can do that is infuriating and, worse yet, there seems to be nothing other than canceling my home phone to stop it. Why are there no legal actions being taken against these people?
