That’s why

On June 13, a letter titled “Tell Me Why” posed some questions for Democrats. While no one can answer for all Democrats, I can answer for this one.

While I don’t personally support abortion, I am opposed to outlawing it. That would be another useless law that would kill more people than it would save. We’ve done this before.

There have always been limits on what you can have under the Second Amendment. You still can’t get a tank or an RPG. Since the assault weapons ban expired in 2004, a flood of semi-automatics and extended magazines hit the market making it easy for people who listen to the voices in their heads to get easily used and extremely deadly weapons. Hundreds of people have died from this …

We did provide more money for mental health in the Affordable Care Act. The Republicans have been fighting in Congress and the courts to take it away.

Most of the undocumented in this country, I believe, came here on airplanes and overstay their visas. Most of the families on the southern border are legally applying for asylum. Undocumented residents do not qualify for most federal benefits and don’t compete with homeless citizens or vets for food or shelter. We used to call Obama “deportee in chief” because of the high numbers he turned away.

The “Solid South” flipped to Republican and stayed there after LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act in 1964. While the KKK was founded by Democrats, I doubt you will find many there now. The South fought the Civil war for their right to own slaves. In my opinion, there were no good people on that side, they were either slave holders or fools. The demonstrators were Nazis, Skinheads and Klansmen. If you call them good people, I’m sorry for you. That’s what history is.

Robert Mueller was a Republican, Rosenstein was a Republican, the AG was a Republican, the President was a Republican and both Houses of Congress were Republican when Mueller was appointed … Mueller said that he couldn’t prove a conspiracy but he indicted a couple of dozen Russians and sent a chunk of the Trump campaign to jail. He laid out about a dozen cases of obstruction of justice against Trump but couldn’t bring charges because of Justice Department policy.

That’s why.
