Gun control — No!

Is the cry for more firearm laws a cry for justice or an opportunity for more government control by the Left Wing to install their socialistic desire for government control over the people instead of people control over the government, as it should be?

The laws that are on the books now, if enforced, would eliminate nearly all the illegal use of firearms. Enforcing the restrictions of possession of firearms by those who are less than mentally balanced means not only better police enforcement, but also better control by those close to the fools full of hate or looking for their 15 seconds of fame.

It is quite obvious that you can not legislate feelings. If a person has hatred for those of a different color skin or type of religion, laws aren’t going to change that.

Education is the way to teach that killing is not the way to solve differences. This kind of education must start in the home and schools and be enforced there. If you want to ban something, ban violence in movies and TV, video games and all other forms of entertainment that makes shooting or bombing appear to be the norm.

You can’t change an individual’s feelings by passing laws. That only affects the law-abiding sector of the public destroying our Constitution and Bill of Rights by denying the ownership of firearms to law-abiding persons.

This only opens another door for criminals and reduces our nation to the level of third-world countries. Let’s stop with the softhearted approach to crimes and let the criminals know that their idiotic approach to life will not get them a room with all the pleasures many of our citizens don’t have now.
