What does the U.S. government need most?

A different president! That’s what some people would say. However, that’s not the best answer to the many problems that our government is experiencing at this time.

The best solution would be a legislative branch that is composed of a veto-proof majority of elected officials committed to serving the people — not the elites, the military industrial complex, large corporations or Wall Street.

Another better solution would be an independent judicial branch that makes its decisions based on the Constitution and the law, not on political party affiliation or loyalty to the executive branch of the government. A new president could be helpful, but it is not what the U.S. government needs the most.
