More about the new All Access Digital Sun-Gazette

Readers of the Williamsport Sun-Gazette will have even more ways to enjoy the area's most comprehensive report of local news, sports and information when the newspaper launches its digital edition on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

Print newspaper subscribers also will be able to read a digital version of the newspaper directly on their computer, tablet, android or smartphone, as part of their subscription. Complete "All Access" is included as part of your paid print subscription.

Online readers will be able to enjoy everything the Sun-Gazette offers in the print edition, from the big stories to local sports to advertisements, no matter the location. All special sections, West Branch Life magazine, Sunday Comics and more will now be available to you online. From Williamsport to Los Angeles, you can stay informed about northcentral Pennsylvania from your porch, vacation spot or anywhere in the world where you can log onto our website. The Sun-Gazette will be delivered to you any way you want it. Sungazette.com will continue to offer subscribers the latest news and information about northcentral Pennsylvania as well as a digital archive dating to 2008.

What about non-subscribers? Non-subscribers will be able to view the headlines and a few sentences at the beginning of each story. They will also continue to view classified ads, Yard/Garage Sale ads and Monster.com employment ads. Non-subscribers will then have an option to subscribe to the complete print/digital package or to a digital only package, to read the entire story. Remember, with the print/digital package subscription you not only receive digital, but you also receive the printed Sunday paper and all coupons and sales flyers for your area.

How do I gain access to iPhone, android and tablet digital content? Users can download the apps from their app store and can subscribe to either the app or the app+newspaper bundle from the website.

Starting at midnight, April 2, 2014, print subscribers can set up their personal passwords for full digital access right on the website. Non-subscribers can also purchase and set up a digital only subscription directly from the online site. Current print subscribers; As we anticipate tens of thousands of subscribers and non-subscribers accessing the site over the next few weeks, it could take up to 24 hours for verification for print subscribers to obtain full digital access.
