5th-inning Loyalsock-Williamsport update

11:11 a.m.: Stephen Stopper becomes the seventh different Lancer to deliver a hit, beating out a one-out infield single down the third-base line.

11:16: Loyalsock again delivers with two outs as Ryan Girio becomes the eighth Lancer with a hit, blooping a RBI double in no-man's land on the line between first base and right field. Loyalsock 4, Williamsport 2.

11:21: Schneider pitches out of a bases-loaded jam, getting a grounder back to the mound. If I'm Williamsport coach Dave Cirpriani I'm obviously disappointed that my team is behind, but also ecstatic that despite being outhit, 9-2 is down only two with the top of the lineup coming up in the bottom of the inning.

11:27: Williamsport is unable to build on the momentum of escaping the jam as Stopper works a 1-2-3 inning.
