early South-Montoursville

Should be an entertaining second game between two young teams who have turned what looked like might be rebuilding seasons into quality ones.

South is 12-5 despite having just one starter back from last year and having 20 of its 29 players being freshmen and sophomores. Montoursville is 11-5 and has done a nice job after losing several quality players from last year and having to deal with some costly injuries to its pitching staff throughout the season.

The pitching matchup is a good one between two who could be heard from plenty the next few years, South sophomore Alex Carpenter and Montoursville freshman Pierce Ranck.
