| | Williamsport-South Williamsport 1st-inning updateMay 15, 2010 - Chris Masse4:04 p.m.: Drae Lewis delivers the first hit of the consolation game, belting a two-out, two-strike into left field. We'll see if this is the spark Williamsport needs to snap a six-game losing streak in a game it desperately needs to win. 4:06: For a second straight game, Kyle Eck shows why the future is so bright for South, throwing out Lewis, one of the district's fastest runners, trying to steal second while ending the inning. 4:12: Not to be outdone, Williamsport's Ray Plymette showcases his skills, throwing out Caleb Catherine trying to steal second. Plymette, only a sophomore, was a standout player in Virginia and throws the ball as well as this reporter has seen during his 11 years here. We go to the second inning scoreless.
