Williamsport-South 4th-inning update

May 15, 2010 - Chris Masse

4:48 p.m.: Kevin Horne started a four-run rally last inning and tries doing so again, ripping a RBI single into center field. Zach McCloskey follows with a single and two players who did not start last game are stepping up in a game the Millionaires have to win.

4:51: Bryan Frailey looked like he might be the third straight player at the bottom of the order to deliver a single but runner's interference is called on Horne for impeding the defense on a bouncer to third and South ends the threat.

4:58: Horne snares an Alex Carpenter liner with two on and two outs, ending South's threat. Fagnano issues two four-pitch walks but throws only 14 pitches in the inning. Without saying the actual word, Fagnano has done something for four innings that can be deduced by looking at the hit column for South in the below linescore.

Williamsport  004 0--4 5 1

South             000 0--0 0 0
