Williamsport-South 6th inning update

5:19 p.m.: Picking up where I left off last inning, Fagnano is the latest in a strong family pipeline of pitchers. Jared's father, Phil, was a standout high school and collegiate pitcher before playing professionally in the minors. Older brother Jake, now playing football at Penn State, was a fantastic scholastic pitcher, helping lead Williamsport to the 2008 District 2-4 Class AAAA championship.

5:24: Gantz is keeping South in the game, allowing just one hit over the last two innings but the Mounties need to get to work offensively fast if they hope to come back in this one.

5:32: Fagnano is in a comfort zone, throwing another hitless inning as Williamsport moves an inning closer to evening its record.
