Montoursville-Loyalsock 3rd inning update

7:27: Josh Metzger shows some blazing speed, beating out a lead-off infield single to second base despite a nice stop by Taylor Hill.

7:28: Nice piece of bunting by Derek Schmack. Despite having two strikes, Schmack perfectly executes the sacrifice, moving Metzger into scoring position for the top of the lineup.

7:33: The importance of getting that bunt down is driven home by Clark who comes through again, this time with two outs, hitting a RBI single into center field and tying the game 2-2.

7:38: The lights are on, the game is tied and the weather is great. I love this job.

7:39: Stephen Stopper keeps delivering and does something that is difficult, hitting his second straight triple. Stopper hammers a 1-2 pitch toward the wall in right field and scores a pitch later on Noyalis's groundout. Loyalsock now leads 3-2 and Stopper is making a case for tournament MVP if Loyalsock wins tonight.
