8:49: Travis Singer continues the Montoursville momentum, hitting a lead-off single to left field.

8:52: Montoursville does not get a bunt down but with one out Singer steals second and moves into scoring position.

8:54: Dalton Young stays alive when Loyalsock misplays a one-out foul pop. Young then reaches first and Singer third on an error on a hit and run. After playing 13 straight error-less innings, Loyalsock has made two errors in a one-minute span.

8:57: Greer comes through again, scoring Singer with a sacrifice fly to right field, giving Montoursville a 5-4 lead, its first since the first inning.

8:59: Karschner trying to cap the comeback for Montoursville, facing the top of Loyalsock's order.

9:02: Jackson Person picks the perfect time to deliver his first hit, belting a one-out double to deep left field. Stephen Stopper is then intentionally walked, putting the winning run at first with one out.

9:05: Karschner comes up with a huge strikeout for the second out, bringing some gas on his 101st pitch.

9:07: Singer makes a snap throw on a slow-rolling grounder, beating Brian Stopper to first by a step as Stopper hustles down the line. Montoursville captures the Brawl championship, 5-4 in an instant classic.

What a great game. This folks is what high school baseball is all about. Gotta love the Backyard Brawl.
