Website Improvements

It's time for a little shameless self promotion.  Beginning today, readers of the Williamsport Sun-Gazette and sungazette.com  will notice a revamped, more dynamic website.  For the past several years, sungazette.com has grown to become Lycoming County and surrounding areas most viewed and shared website.  Based on Google generated data, on any given month, sungazette.com averages roughly 1,4000,000 page views by over 308,000 visits and 110,000 unique visitors.  About 75% of these are from Pennsylvania.  No other site in Lycoming County can come close to these numbers. If you are advertising on another website, ask them to show you their numbers.  Better yet, place an ad on sungazette.com to reach our loyal and engaged readers for as little as $10 per 1,000 impressions.  We can also target specific niche areas, if you like.  Our website improvements include better calendars, Local Search powered by EZ to Use Directories, an improved mobile application, enhanced video, and additional new advertising inventory.  We have also added the ability  for viewers and  readers to post comments on local news and sports stories, blogs and forums. (We will police this function closely, so please play nice) We are also very close to launching a new e-commerce site which will include a special Sun-Gazette store, where you may purchase Sun-Gazette hats, umbrellas, books and more.  I also promise to update my blogs at least once per week.  Next blog topic: My top 20 favorite songs by The Kinks.   Happy Labor Day weekend!!!
